PROFESSOR CLARK SEMINAR 12 NOVEMBER 2006

On Sunday 12 November 2006 Kaizen Martial Arts Academy was privileged to host a seminar led by Professor Rick Clark, focusing on key aspects of Karate Jutsu.  The seminar was organised by our colleague Mick Flanagan of Headingley Karate.  

Professor Clark holds the following ranks:

8th Dan Ryukyu Kempo

7th Dan Tae Kwon Do Chung Do Kwan

7th Dan Ju-jitsu

5th Dan Judo

3rd Dan Modern Arnis

1st Dan Hapkido

You will have read from previous reports of Professor Clark's seminars that they are well received, very informative and exquisitely painful.  Although this time I was not able to attend because of other commitments looking at the pained expressions on some of the participants, this seminar wasn't any different.  I understand that Professor Clark's leg walk from the Tekki Kata still yields moments of anguish from those who ''volunteer'' for its demonstration!!
