The Principal Instructor of West Leeds Muay Thai is Lee Maggs, himself an International fighter.
On Saturday 11 October 209 Lee took his group to the Octagon Theatre, Sheffield for the Showdown 7 event. As usual the event was fast and furious with seasoned fighters coming up against new fighters.
West Leeds Muay Thai’s own Sam Clay was pitted against Studio 2000's Alan Whittam. Following a hard fought contest Sam ran out the winner of the K1 English Title. No doubt this is the first of many winning fights to come.
